There are three main types of LiFePO4 cells: pouch, cylindrical and prismatic. While most competitors use the cheaper pouch and cylindrical cells, the Canbat 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery is built with prismatic cells, the most advanced and safest LiFePO4 technology. Pouch cells have a flexible, soft outer casing and are prone to swelling and damage over time. Cylindrical cells are robust with a steel casing but have a low energy density. Prismatic combines efficient space usage and durability, with a rigid structure that enhances safety, cycle life, and thermal performance. The battery features screw-in M8 terminals with two sets of bolts included with every battery. One set of shorter bolts (12mm) for applications with minimal connections, and one set of longer bolts for applications requiring more connections.
